Rehabiliating wild mammals is expensive. A single raccoon kit costs more than $100 to raise to release.

We are 100% volunteer and have no facility overhead. Thus, your tax-deductible donation goes directly to offset the cost of care.

If you'd prefer to send a donation using traditional mail, our address is:

Join our super hero team!

Orphaned baby raccoons, squirrels, opossums and cottontails need foster parents to prepare them to thrive as adults released back into the wild. Wisconsin WildCare provides training and ongoing support to our wildlife fosters.

Fostering wild babies is a life-changing experience. Those who do it are super heroes in our eyes (and theirs).

Do you have what it takes to be a wildlife super hero?

New foster training sessions are happening now

All new volunteer fosters are required to attend a training session. There will only be a few held before baby season begins, so don't delay!

Check out our Events calendar for dates and locations.
